Gishiki Matcha is a matcha brand based in San Francisco. Its founder, Angie, started the company after a matcha-making class in Uji, Kyoto. Gishiki calls its matcha ceremonial grade. It is made from single-origin, first-harvest leaves grown on JAS-certified organic farms in Kagoshima, then stone-milled in Uji. Goodhart Coffee Catering of San Francisco Bay Area brings mobile espresso carts and professional baristas to corporate events, weddings and private celebrations. The menu covers hot and iced espresso drinks such as lattes, cappuccinos and americanos, along with tea, chai and hot chocolate. Baristas add latte art to drinks with or without caffeine, and the company calls its salted caramel latte "famous." Custom branding is available. The team works across San Francisco and the wider Bay Area, covering anywhere within 150 miles of its San Francisco base, and travels farther by arrangement. The carts are compact enough to go through doorways and into elevators, so they work indoors or outdoors, and they need only a standard wall outlet. The company says its baristas can make 50 to 500 drinks an hour, and that it has catered more than 3,500 events nationwide since 2017.
