"Black Fodder went above and beyond our expectations! The coffee was delicious and the service was exceptional. The guests at our wedding were raving about this coffee all night long! Maciej was amazing from the start. He did a coffee tasting for us and walked us through the entire process of booking his services. We requested a Polish speaking barista for our wedding and he personally was there to serve our guests --simply the best! Could not recommend Black Fodder enough--such a great accent to any event:)"

"The atmosphere and the service are AMAZING, but that’s about it. I’m not a coffee lover so I got some of their pastries/desserts and they were not good. The cinnamon muffin tasted ok but the texture was gummy/chewy. The tiramisu was weirdly acidic/tart and not in a good high percentage cacao way, just acidic. The mango cake was ok but didn’t have any specific flavors, it tasted good enough but I couldn’t pinpoint what I was tasting. Overall the vibe was great and the attention even better, I just wished the products were on that level too. TLDR: Great vibes, not great food"

"I have came a few times in the past with my mom, today I wanted something new so I asked for a dirty iced matcha with oat milk. At first they made me a dirty chai on accident, no problem they fixed it! When they started making my matcha I seen them use whole milk (I have a dairy allergy) so I kindly let them know I also asked for oatmilk. The barista threw the cup of ice and milk into the sink, said he would remake it then both baristas started bickering about me and the drink. Received a regular matcha instead of a dirty matcha. Won’t be back due to the rude baristas"

"Black Fodder has recently opened! It’s located in River Forest which makes for a convenient location for Oak Park, Forest Park, and River Forest residents. If you appreciate third wave coffee, you will be relieved to hear they serve Onyx Coffee as their bean of choice. The owners have a keen eye for detail and offer excellent choices of baked goods (GF options available). Parking is easy, the interior space is well designed. I will dropping all other coffee shops in the area to make this my go to cafe. Thank you Black fodder for providing excellent coffee to the area!"

"The team was top notch represented our DeJunk.it brand well with branded both, shirts and cups. The coffee and tea was fantastic with nothing but compliments from our future customers. We served an event with over 1000 people in attendance, Fodder’s team was relaxed and conversational. Our goal was to sever coffee and slow traffic at our trade show just enough to have our team chat with each customer. We doubled our contacts, had great conversations and had the busiest booth at the show! Wonderful Experience!!"
