How we verify coffee cart vendors
Every label on a listing means something specific. Here is what we check ourselves, what vendors tell us, and what to ask before you book. 387 vendors are Human Verified today.
What each label means
Reviewed by a person
Every vendorA person added or reviewed the listing. We confirm it is a mobile coffee service that travels to events, and we remove duplicates and businesses that have closed.
Human Verified
Checked by usA person has confirmed the business is real and actively taking events.
Insurance checked
Document seen by usWe have seen a current certificate of insurance from the vendor. The label shows for a year from the date we saw it, then drops off until they send a new one.
Business registration checked
Record checked by usWe looked the business up in its state’s business registry and found it active. The listing shows the month we checked.
What vendors tell us
Guest capacity, number of baristas, drinks per hour, whether they travel out of state, and past clients come from the vendor. Listings mark these “as listed by the vendor”, and we don't present them as checked.
Reviews from booked customers
A review marked Booked through FindCoffeeCarts comes from a customer who sent a quote request here and booked that cart; the vendor confirmed the booking. We email the customer after the event, each booking gets one review, and we publish them good or bad. We only hold back spam, abuse, or a review that isn't about the cart. Ratings cover coffee, professionalism, arrival and setup, the cart's appearance, the guest experience, and whether the vendor delivered what was promised.
What we don't check
We don't taste the coffee or grade baristas ourselves. Ratings come from booked customers and from Google, not from us. A label tells you a vendor is real and insured; whether they are right for your event is a conversation with them. The questions below help.
Before you book for a corporate event or conference, ask for
- A certificate of insurance naming your company or venue as additional insured, if the venue requires it.
- Photos or video from a completed event of a similar size, not just the cart on its own.
- Two or three recent client references, ideally corporate or conference events.
- How many baristas they bring, and how many drinks an hour they serve at that staffing.
- Power and water needs, setup space, and how early they arrive.
- What is included in the price, and what travel, extra hours or branded cups add.
